How I came to Wild Resiliency mp3

Resiliency:

Has your resiliency got you down?

Are you still bouncing back to the very self you've been trying to outgrow or even escape. Are you resiliently returning to a yesterday's self, to original shape and form, while the world around us spins on and changes ever faster?

Is your resiliency like that of a rubber ball? Are you or your organization eternally recreating and renewing yesterday's problems anew, today?

Can you recognize the face in the mirror as its own worst enemy, and your very Self as the ally and resource you've been waiting for?

Do you desire to envision a new way of being in the world, or even a new world to be in? Do you yearn for increased vitality, wellness, hardiness and wholeness? Are you outgrowing an old skin perhaps, and ready to dream a new dream?

Do you suspect only an evolutionary transformation of human consciousness might guide us into a future worth dreaming into being? Do you kow that your own well-being and healing is also the earth's? And that her's is likewise yours?

Wild Resiliency:

Then consider going wild!

Say, Yes! to life's invitational call and re-wild your Self.

Remember the wildness that innately lives within; that wildness that gives birth yet to the cosmos and out of which all creativity ultimately arises. Reclaim ownership of your authentic self; reclaim loyalty to the voice and dreams and vision, passion, and soul that are yours alone.

Let Nature be your guide. Be loyal to your own joy, and go wildly and resourcefully on the adventure of your life!

Welcome to the Wild Resiliency Institute.

We find joy in helping people and organizations of intention remember their own wild joy and creativity, their belongingness in the world, their wellness, hardiness, and wholeness of being. We believe in synchronicity, the breath of life, and in co-evolutionary mutualistic partnerships.

A fairer House than Prose -
More numerous of windows -
Superior - for doors.

Wild resiliency is Life's love of itself. It is the courageous willingness to be loyal to our greatest potentiality, our innrmost joy.

Wild resiliency is the capacity, arising out of our deepest creative spontaneity, to orient toward hardiness, wholeness, and transformation, in service of life.

Wild Resiliency is a living systems ecological model of dynamic balance, change and transformation. The Wild Resiliency model is grounded in and is an integration of ecology, the Western and the Indigenous sciences, the world's mythologies and positive psychology's resiliency research.

"I had reverted completely back to type. Congratulations, Miss Wurtzel: you are the same as ever. Your resiliency, your ability to bounce back to your old habits, is admirable. You are to be commended for your stubborn desire to stay the same. Your uniqueness has made you a common idiot."

from the autobiography More, Now, Again by Elizabeth Wurtzel, on her struggles with addiction

Men are born soft and supple;
Dead, they are stiff and hard.
Plants are born tender and pliant;
dead, they are brittle and dry.

Thus whoever is stiff and inflexible
is a disciple of death.
Whoever is soft and yielding
is a disciple of life.

The hard and stiff will be broken.
The soft and suple will prevail.

Tao Te Ching, Lao tzu, translated by Stephen Mitchell
